Winnie Ntshaba Returns as Khetiwe Rejoins ‘Generations’

It seems like actress Winnie Ntshaba is making her return to Generations: The Legacy. The exciting update was shared by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela on social media.
Phil shared the news on X writing, “Khethiwe Returns To Generations. The beloved character of Khethiwe Buthelezi is returning to the Generations universe. Actress Winnie Ntshaba will reprise the role on the SABC1 soapie, Generations The Legacy. Ntshaba was one of the ‘Generations 16’ — dubbed such after sixteen actors on the soapie were fired by the production company for going on strike.”

Winnie Ntshaba played the role of Khethiwe Buthelezi from 2005 until 2014 and became one of the most loved characters on the show. Her return is expected to bring back memories for many long-time viewers who followed her storyline over the years.
The news of her possible return comes shortly after Winnie officially said goodbye to her role as Faith Zwide on House of Zwide after spending five years on the show. On her Instagram page, Winnie shared a message as she reflected on her journey and the relationships she built while filming the popular drama series.
Winnie shared, “To the older actors….. let’s welcome and nurture the young ones, we were also once young. Nothing breaks my heart like witnessing an older actor ill treating or being threatened by young actors that infact look up to them…..”
She also thanked her co-stars, House of Zwide and the production team for the fun moments they shared and the time they spent together on set during the past five years.
In another post, Winnie wrote, “I am forever grateful for the wonderful 5 years spent with the cast and crew on House Of Zwide…. What a bunch of talented, brilliant, kind, souls I worked with. My prayer to God is may we all experience the unity and love in our work places, same as the one we had Bomb Productions and House of Zwide. Damn I love you and miss you ALL!”
She continued by celebrating the strong bond she shared with the people she worked with over the years. “My cast and crew mates we rocked 5 solid years.”
