Intel CEO says China is 'not that far behind' in semiconductor manufacturing

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan sat down with Nikkei Asia in Tokyo earlier this month, and two things stood out from the interview: his assessment that Intel's restructuring is about 80% complete, and his view that China is, in his words, "not that far behind" in semiconductor manufacturing despite years of US export controls.
