Makhadzi Cleared to Return to Work After Car Accident

She shared, “Makhadzi Entertainment confirms that as of Friday 13 February 2026, Makhadzi has been cleared to return back to work by her doctors. Makhadzi went for a checkup on Friday morning in Polokwane after which she was given a green light to continue with her work.

South African singer and dancer Makhadzi has finally shared good news with her fans following the car accident she was involved in at the end of last year.

The award-winning star was involved in a car accident on 31 December 2025, leaving many of her supporters worried about her health. Since then, fans have been waiting for updates and praying for her full recovery. Now, Makhadzi has confirmed that she is officially ready to return to work.

The doctors are happy with her recovery and after going through all the checks they were satisfied with her recovery.

“I am feeling good and would like to thank all the staff members, the nurses, and the doctors from Netcare, Pholosho in Polokwane for taking care of me from day one. I would also like to thank the Minister of Sport, Mr. Gayton Mackenzie; Limpop Premier, Dr. Phophi Ramathuba and her executive; Polokwane Mayor Clir John Mpe; my family; my Mother and my Father; my team; fellow Artist; The AFRIMA’s; Munguambe foundation and all my followers for all the prayers and messages of support” says Makhadzi.”

Her message made it clear that she is not only physically recovering but also emotionally grateful for the overwhelming support she received.

Even during her recovery period, the hardworking performer did not stop doing what she loves most — making music. Makhadzi revealed that she has been busy in the studio, and fans can expect new music very soon. This has already created excitement among her supporters, who have been eagerly waiting for her next release.

In addition to new music, her team has been preparing for her official comeback show. The highly anticipated event will take place at Fountains in Pretoria on 1 May 2026. The show is expected to mark a powerful return to the stage for the Limpopo-born star.
