One hundred municipalities across South Africa have adopted a Code for Ethical Leadership in Local Government. However, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa says the next step is ensuring the commitment translates into ethical and accountable municipal leadership.
