SARB launches R2 coins honouring Charlotte Maxeke and 1956 women

The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has officially launched two new two-rand coins to commemorate and celebrate the legacies of Charlotte Maxeke and the women who led and participated in the 1956 Women’s March.
