Rele Mofokeng’s girlfriend: ‘When God opens a door…’

Relebohile Mofokeng’s girlfriend, Nolofatso Mohono, has publicly congratulated him on his new career move. The Bafana Bafana player has been linked with a transfer from PSL’s Orlando Pirates to the Belgian club, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

The 21-year-old player bypassed a return to South Africa from the FIFA World Cup to complete his medical examination at his new club.

News of his signing has yet to be officially announced.

RELE MOFOKENG’S GIRLFRIEND PUBLICLY ONGRATULATES HIM

On her Instagram account, Nolofatso Mohono congratulated Rele Mofokeng on his transfer to Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.

The content creator posted a picture of her partner, with the caption: “Thanda blind mfanaka. Tsepila fela. Modimo ha butsi haona atla kwala [Madly in love with my boy. Stay focused. When God opens a door]”.

In a statement, Orlando Pirates confirmed that they had brokered a deal for the 21-year-old – nicknamed the “President Yama-2000” – to sign with the Pro League side.

The PSL club shared that the transfer was subject to Mofokeng passing a medical examination and finalising personal terms with the Pro League side.

Pirates also revealed that transfer news was intentionally kept private, allowing Mofokeng to “focus fully on the World Cup with Bafana Bafana without distraction”

Rele Mofokeng is one of many Bafana Bafana players rumoured to have sparked interest from overseas clubs.

Star defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi, currently playing for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire, is reportedly being pursued by Premier League side Nottingham Forest.

Oswin Appollishas been linked to Portuguese giants FC Porto, while Sporting CP has eyed Evidence Makgopa.
