Reality TV star Izingane ZeS’thembu personality Abongwe Mseleku is celebrating a major milestone after graduating with a degree from AFDA.
The young star, who is the daughter of reality TV personality Musa Mseleku, shared the exciting news on Instagram. She also posted photos from her graduation day alongside her father and MaCele Mseleku, showing the proud family celebrating the special moment together.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Abongwe expressed deep gratitude to God and thanked her parents for supporting her throughout her journey.
“Thank you God! What a blessing it is to walk across the stage and not just walk across it but look to my left and wave at both my parents,” she wrote.
She explained that the moment was emotional because it meant fulfilling a dream that her mother had prayed for. Abongwe shared that seeing her mother cry tears of joy during the graduation made the moment even more meaningful.
“This is for you mom,” she wrote, adding that her mother’s love and support have always been unconditional.
Abongwe also reflected on a difficult time in her life two years ago when she nearly lost someone very important to her. Despite the emotional challenges, she continued with her studies and pushed herself to finish her degree.
“Two years ago I cried terribly cause I almost lost a huge part of me. I went back to school and had to act like nothing was wrong because unfortunately life had to go on,” she shared.
The reality TV star said she used to message her loved one almost every day to make sure they were still okay. Now, two years later, she says the tears she sheds are filled with relief and happiness.
She added that she is grateful that her parent was able to live long enough to witness her graduation, something she once feared might not happen.
Her father, Musa Mseleku, also took to social media to congratulate his daughter on the achievement. “We will forever be indebted in you Abongwe Nandi Lizwilikama Mseleku,” he wrote.
In another post, Abongwe kept her message short but meaningful, writing: “Uzalolimala. One degree wiser. Thank you God.”
Aside from being known on reality television, Abongwe is also building a career in media. She owns a broadcasting and media production company called LNA Studios, which offers services such as creative directing, videography, photography and film editing.
Her graduation marks another step forward as she continues to grow both personally and professionally in the media and entertainment industry.
