Glen Steward grew up on a sugar cane farm in the Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal, the son of a former Essex county cricketer turned cane farmer and a nursing sister. On Oct. 14, the South African financier stood with his leadership team at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York’s Times Square to ring the opening bell for Stewards Inc., the Florida-based financial company he chairs.
