South African actress Thembi Seete recently celebrated a special milestone as her son Dakalo turned eight years old. The proud mother shared heartwarming pictures from the birthday celebration on social media, giving fans a glimpse into the joyful day spent with family and loved ones.

The party followed a fun Zootopia-themed concept, inspired by the popular animated movie Zootopia. The colourful theme added a playful touch to the celebration as family gathered to make Dakalo’s big day memorable.

Alongside the pictures, Thembi wrote a touching message dedicated to her son. She wrote: “Happy 8th Birthday, Snokosmosos Dakaloyena

You’re seriously the best gift God ever gave me, and I love you more than words can even say. I’m just so, so grateful for you. You’ve brought so much joy, giggles, and love into my world. Watching you grow up has been the absolute biggest blessing in my life.

Happy birthday, my love! Keep shining bright, keep that beautiful smile on your face, and never, ever forget how super special you are.

And a big shoutout to the family for all your love and the awesome gifts.we totally love and appreciate you all so much.”

The post quickly attracted attention from fans and fellow celebrities who joined in wishing Dakalo a happy birthday. Singer Nhlanhla Mafu commented, “Happy birthday to my little handsome baby DK.”

Actor Leera Mthethwa also shared a warm message, writing, “Happy Birthday to Dakalo and Happy momversary to you, my Tay.”

Thembi welcomed her first child in 2018. News of her pregnancy first surfaced in February that year when she was 40 years old. She later gave birth to Dakalo in April 2018. At the time, the actress kept her pregnancy mostly private and only shared the exciting news publicly after her son was born. She later celebrated her first Mother’s Day in May 2018.

Apart from celebrating her son, Thembi has also been focusing on her fashion journey. The actress recently shared more about her fashion brand, Mapule Collection by Thembi Seete, which was inspired by her mother’s legacy.

In a previous exclusive chat with TRUELOVE Magazine, Thembi explained what inspired her to create the fashion line and why it means so much to her.

“The inspiration behind Mapule Collection comes from my mother, Rebecca Seete,” she explained. “She was a talented fashion designer who learned to sew, design, and create from a very young age. Her effortless sense of style and impeccable eye for detail allowed her to craft timeless pieces that still amaze me today. Even without social media or global fashion trends, she could create something extraordinary. She designed for queens, kings, weddings, and individual clients, and her work carried a spirit of excellence and authenticity that continues to inspire me.”

Through both motherhood and her growing fashion brand, Thembi continues to share meaningful moments of her life with fans while celebrating the people who inspire her the most.
