THE FUSE

Over the past few years, Warhammer 40,000 has become a huge part of my life—so much so that I’ve now found myself reading books to learn as much as I can about its lore, and even playing its tabletop counterpart competitively. So when I heard that Total War: Warhammer 40,000 was going to be at Gamescom 2026, I knew I needed to play it. After spending roughly an hour with it, I’ve learned that this is the perfect game for Warhammer sickos like myself, and an even better one for introducing new people to the franchise.
