WEATHER TODAY: Level 4 storm warning for Mpumalanga and KZN, Musina hits 40°C

A yellow Level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms with flooding, damage to property and disruptions from wind and hail is out in places in Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal, with a Level 2 warning for parts of Limpopo, Gauteng, North West and Free State too. Musina is the hottest at 40°C, and KwaZulu-Natal is the wettest with an 80% chance of thundershowers. Extremely high fire danger is expected over North West, most of Limpopo and the extreme north-east of the Northern Cape.
