Father’s Day on 21 June 2026 saw many South African celebrities paying tribute to the fathers and father figures in their lives. Among them was award-winning singer Una Rams, who shared a heartfelt message celebrating his children, his father and his wife, actress Ntando Duma.

Una Rams is a proud father to his stepdaughter, Sbahle Mzizi, and his one-year-old daughter, Amani. Taking to social media, the singer reflected on his journey as a father and the joy his family has brought into his life.

He wrote: “to be a father… oh, how time flies. I was just a kid the other day, and now i have kids of my own.

today, i’m inspired by the love i get to give and receive from my little family. you’ve given my life new meaning and continue to remind me that life is worth living. you’ve taught me a new kind of love and shaped me into a better man. being your father is a great joy.

i’m not blind to the responsibility i have to protect you, nurture you, and help you become the best versions of yourselves.

i’m a man who wears many titles, but the one i’m probably most proud of is being your father.”

The singer also took a moment to appreciate Ntando Duma for her support and partnership throughout their parenting journey.

“and to my wife, you’ve made fatherhood feel easy. i could not have asked for a better partner to walk this journey with. every day, i’m reminded of how blessed i am to have you beside me. you make me want to be a better man every single day.”

Una Rams also honoured his father, sharing how much he has inspired him over the years.

“the last picture is of my pops, smiling as widely as ever. i had such a great blueprint, the best example i could have asked for. i don’t doubt that i can be a good father because he already set the tone and showed me what it looks like.”

He ended his touching tribute with a message about the importance of present and loving fathers.

“someone said to me yesterday, “great guys make great dads,” and that really stuck with me. i’m happy to know that fathers like him exist. men who show up, love deeply, and change the narrative simply by being present. happy father’s day.”
