I wasn’t there to partake in footy but rather to , , and of course (and ) on a fjord with . The Norwegian brand hosted me and other outdoor journalists to put some of its latest gear through serious paces, and all the pieces we tested were purpose-built for Norway’s rugged conditions—spoiler: They held up and then some. We started out on the western seaboard in Bergen to acclimate and explore the Scandinavian country’s second-largest city. The real adventure got going the next day though, as we headed to the West Norwegian Fjords UNESCO World Heritage Site to set up base camp with Frank Barmen and his team of Norway Mountain Guides.
