South African actress Zikhona Sodlaka is stepping into an exciting new chapter as she officially launches her new YouTube series, The For Men Podcast.

The actress and storyteller recently shared the exciting news through an emotional Instagram reel, where she opened up about her passion for creating meaningful conversations centred around African men and the rehabilitation of the boy child. Her heartfelt message quickly caught the attention of fans who praised her for tackling such an important topic.

In the video, Zikhona spoke honestly about the journey behind the podcast and why the conversations matter so deeply to her.

“One of my favourite things to do is to communicate about the things that are important to myself and to the life that I observe. For the longest time I’ve been thinking do I have the right to speaking life to the African man. I’m hoping that the conversation can spread like wildfire, at schools, in taxis, the boy child, to normalise these rehabilitative conversations with men,” she shared.

The actress also reflected on finally seeing her vision come to life after thinking about it for such a long time.

“You know, you think about something for so long and it just works out. It validates that there’s a place for a thing that you want to create.”

In the caption of her post, Zikhona explained that the project has been years in the making and forms part of a much bigger movement aimed at healing and rebuilding communities through honest conversations.

“This has been a LOOOOOONG time coming. We are building towards the rehabilitation of the boy child, our uncles, grandfather, dads. And we shall see this movement move, in our Lifetime.
