For one, children dress up as påskkärringar, or Easter “witches.” With rosy cheeks and scarves tied around their heads, kids go door-to-door wishing neighbors a cheerful Glad påsk (happy Easter) while handing out drawings in exchange for candy. (Basically a springtime version of trick-or-treating.)
