Hi, I am Tas. And it’s my Medium Channel TasThinks. I am just 15, still go to school and among the popular authors and researchers why should you waste your time reading me? A very valid question- that I also may have of I weren’t doing this!
So here’s why you should listen to my voice-

•I prefer Honesty over so called "REALITY"
•I am from Bangladesh which is considered as one of the most corrupted countries of the world.
Bangladesh scores low on the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), ranking 151st out of 180 countries in the 2024.
So as you can guess, living and growing up in Bangladesh isn’t easy at all. From this POV the even the American middle class kids look like nepo babies. And as I have and currently am experiencing the struggles with the very basic rights, I think I am a good fit to talk about life, discriminations and philosophies.

Everyone comes with their different philosophies and what makes mine a lil bit different is the endlessness of the obstacles and barriers.

• And I am not writing here to be popular or to earn money. Really. I am writing to advocate for the girls who are black, who are judged hundred times even by their family. I am still going through them but I think now I need to start telling the story.
• Here, we have a PRESSURE TO PERFORM. Our education system doesn’t allow any creativity just rote memorization. This is just like a machine that takes the fresh minds and turns them into the modern slaves. Yes, exception happens, but what about the rest?
Every year, 10,000 to 14,000 people commit suicide in Bangladesh, making it the second highest cause of death in the country after road accidents.A recent study revealed that among students aged 13-17. (TAKEN from Dhaka Tribune.)
But the society is just fine being the slaves. The Rich get richer and the poor faces a gambling: Be slave or just die. I wasn’t born to OBEY. And so I will write, and I need your help to speard my voice.
Last words: Yes, I am not an expert or a super successful person of your dream or a billionaire. But I am a girl facing thousands of injustice but still not losing the core of my life. The core of my life, yes, the perfect phrase to depict it. So please, help me.
Thanks.
