Former Bafana Bafana Star Simphiwe Tshabalala Heads to Harvard Business School

Former Bafana Bafana star Simphiwe Tshabalala is showing that success does not stop when a football career ends.

The South African football legend recently revealed that he is taking his education to the next level after attending Harvard Business School, one of the most respected institutions in the world.

Tshabalala shared the exciting news with his followers on social media, posting photos and videos from the campus. Some images shows him proudly standing next to a Harvard Business School sign, while another video captures him standing next to the sign and walking into the school.

Reflecting on the experience, the 41-year-old expressed gratitude for the opportunity and the lessons he gained during his time there.

“This Chapter of my life is called “My turn”. I was empowered at the best learning institution in the world @harvardhbs and I’m eternally grateful. I was in room with great minds from different sectors in Entertainment, Media and Sports. My perspective was Empowered,” he wrote.

Tshabalala also thanked his professor, Anita Elberse, for playing a role in his learning journey.

Although he did not reveal the specific programme he was studying, his announcement quickly drew praise from fans, friends and supporters who congratulated him on this new chapter.

Known for his achievements on the football field, Tshabalala is now inspiring many people with his commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning. Social media users applauded him for continuing to invest in himself long after hanging up his boots.

The exciting milestone comes at a time when there is also much to celebrate in the Tshabalala household.

His wife, former Miss South Africa 2010 Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, recently made history in the pageant industry after securing the South African rights to the Miss World competition. The achievement means that she now holds the national franchise rights to three of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants — Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Supranational.

Proud of his wife’s accomplishment, Tshabalala shared a touching message celebrating her success.

“This was on your Vision Board way before you became Miss South Africa in 2010 and God finally answered. Destiny can be delayed but never denied. Congratulations @bokang_m.”
