In the Girls U18 category, No 1 seed Roxy Bredenkamp (Laerskool Hermanus, Western Cape) produced a dominant display, defeating unseeded Cindy Duvenhage 6-0 6-0 to advance to the quarter-finals. All six of the top seeds in the Girls U18 singles competition progressed to the next round.
