The Military Skills Development System (MSDS) programme 2026/2027 is now open for applications. The MSDS is a two-year voluntary service system with the long-term goal of enhancing the SA National Defence Forces deployment capability. This could be the Army, Navy, Air Force or Military Health Service. Details of this year's programme have been announced.
