Most of the country is dry and hot, with Klerksdorp, Bloemfontein and Kroonstad all on 34°C and extremely high veld fire conditions over most of the Northern Cape. The only rain chance, 30% for showers and thundershowers, is over Ermelo, Mbombela, Bethlehem and Newcastle, while Cape Town is cloudy with a top of 27°C.
