THE FUSE

The North West province celebrated the achievements of its agricultural community at the 3rd South African Agricultural Awards, held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The prestigious event recognised farmers and agricultural stakeholders for their contributions to the growth, development and transformation of South Africa’s agricultural sector. The province was proudly represented by the Department, with two local farmers receiving recognition for their work in different categories. Reamogetse Mangwegape was recognised in the Accessibility category, while Ipeleng Kwadi-Seboni received recognition in the Agricultural Department and Community Empowerment category. Their achievements highlight the dedication, innovation and resilience of farmers in the North West and demonstrate the important role agriculture plays in supporting livelihoods, strengthening communities and creating economic opportunities.
