Amakhosi have already secured a third-place finish and will be aiming to end the season strongly with back-to-back victories in their final two matches.

With the title race now beyond them, the Soweto giants cannot improve on third place regardless of results in their remaining fixtures, but the clash against Usuthu still carries importance as Chiefs continue building momentum ahead of next season.

Chiefs will take on AmaZulu at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00, in line with other PSL fixtures.

How could Chiefs line up against AmaZulu?

Brandon Petersen is expected to retain his place between the posts as he looks to add another clean sheet to his impressive run this season.

Thabiso Monyane, Miguel Inacio, Aden McCarthy and Bradley Cross are all expected to start at the back. However, Given Msimango could also come into contention ahead of the Angolan defender depending on the tactical approach.

Lebohang Maboe has been one of Chiefs’ standout performers in midfield this season and is likely to continue in a central role.

Sibongiseni Mthethwa could once again be handed a rare start ahead of Siphesihle Ndlovu, especially with AmaZulu expected to make the midfield battle highly competitive as they continue pushing for a top-four finish.

Usuthu know that victory over Amakhosi would significantly boost their chances of securing fourth place this season.

Flavio Silva is expected to spearhead the attack, with youngster Mfundo Vilakazi likely to operate in a free role behind the striker.

On the wings, Asanele Velebayi and Glody Lilepo are expected to provide creativity and attacking width as Chiefs look to trouble AmaZulu’s defence.

Tashreeq Morris, who impressed with a goal during his rare appearance last week, could once again feature prominently and is expected to get valuable minutes against Usuthu.
