Eight years after the Hashtag-Total Shutdown movement and 7 years after the rape and murder of UCT student, Uyinene Mrwetyana, activists in the anti-GBV sector in Cape Town are raising the alarm on the lack of resources to fight the scourge of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF).
