THE FUSE

Local farmers from the Sakhisizwe Local Municipality in the Chris Hani District gathered at Khowa Hall for a targeted agricultural awareness campaign hosted by the Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture. The event focused on improving access to information, government support services, and practical farming guidance that can strengthen long term agricultural productivity in the region. Farmers from different communities attended to engage directly with officials and learn about available development programmes. The campaign formed part of ongoing efforts to build stronger, more informed farming communities across rural areas. It also created a platform for open dialogue between farmers and government support structures.
