Thato Immaculate Exits Metro FM After Two Years

Radio presenter Thato Immaculate Mthombeni has announced that she is leaving Metro FM after two years on air.
The former Big Brother Mzansi housemate shared the news on her social media, thanking the station and everyone she worked with during her time there. She wrote, “Thank you @METROFMSA and @SABCPortal for a great 2 years on the MIGHTY METRO FM. Thank you to my awesome co-host @Naked_Dj and producer Bobsta I’m forever grateful. To the Metro FM listeners, thank you for your support and love. Here’s to new beginnings! #Thatolmmaculate.”
Thato joined Metro FM in April 2024 and quickly became a familiar voice on the station. She co-hosted the popular weekend show Saturday Sunset alongside Naked DJ. Her energy and presence helped make the show a favourite for many listeners.
Following her departure, Naked DJ is set to co-host The Break Away from 9am to 12pm with Khutso Theledi and Somizi Mhlongo.
Fans and industry friends flooded Thato’s comment section with messages of support and encouragement. DJ Pandelani Mulaudzi wrote, “I can’t wait to celebrate you next best, All the best my babe. I will miss you thou see you at the stadium.”
Other followers also shared kind words. User thobeka_thala commented, “All the best cc, you are the best and something bigger is coming.” Penelopesithole added, “Ah thank u for giving us the best Saturdays show down can’t wait to see what’s next.”
Thato recently left the station in March 2026, closing off what she described as an unforgettable chapter.
