South Africa’s T20 World Cup semi-final spot had fans celebrating and Rory Petzer’s single-word reaction said it all.

South Africa (27 February 2026) – Content creator Rory Petzer didn’t need analysis, statistics or a match breakdown to sum up the Proteas’ latest performance, just one word on repeat: “YOH!”

In a reaction video, Rory can be heard shouting “YOH!” throughout, perfectly capturing what many South African fans were feeling as Aiden Markram’s men delivered another dominant display.

And honestly? If you watched the game, you’d understand. It was yoh indeed.

The Proteas became the second team to secure a spot in the ICC T20 World Cup semi-finals on Thursday after a commanding nine-wicket win over West Indies in Ahmedabad. England are the only other side to have already booked their place in the final four.

South Africa remain unbeaten with four points. West Indies and India are both on two points, while Zimbabwe have been eliminated.

With the Proteas firing on all cylinders, Rory who is known for his passionate and often hilarious takes on South African sport, has had plenty to celebrate lately.
