Applications Open for the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency Cooperative Development Support Programme. The Cooperative Development Support Programme (CDSP) grant fund aims to support 50 cooperatives in growing and sustaining their operations by improving production efficiency, product quality, and scaling their activities.

Raw materials or stock
Commercial vehicles linked to operations
ICT systems
Infrastructure such as irrigation systems and boreholes

Cooperative’s Business Plan / Funding Proposal
Proof of registration with SARS (i.e. Tax clearance certificate if applicable)
FICA documents for the cooperative and members/directors (e.g., Municipal accounts,
letter from traditional authority)
CIPC Registration Documents (e.g., Constitution, CR-10);
Lease Agreement or Permission to Occupy (P.T.O) or Title Deed
Three comparable quotations from your suppliers. The suppliers must be
registered with CSD.
CVs and certified ID Copies of Directors/founding members
Copy of minute’s resolutions to apply for Cooperative Support Programme (NB:
nominate signatories for this application)
Copy of the latest Bank Statement
One(1) years financial statements or Management Account (for existing Cooperatives) /
Projected Financial Statement (for new Cooperatives). Members contributions into the
account for New Cooperatives
Three (3) Months Bank Statements (for existing Cooperatives) or Proof of bank account
for new Cooperatives;
Three (3) year cash flow projections; and
Relevant Industry Certification -where applicable.
