In this fiery keynote address , Afrikan-Nationalist author and lecturer, Ayo Kimathi issues a clarion call to the youth of Afrika and the diaspora, framing the emergence of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), comprising Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, as the most significant act of Black sovereignty since the Haitian Revolution. Kimathi draws a direct line from the enslaved Africans who overthrew French colonial rule in 1804 to the military leaders of the Sahel who have broken away from neocolonial structures to forge a new path.
