A Voice of Conscience, Courage, and Love
Messages from Martin Luther King Jr. in the Second Coming Messages from Spirit Series
Short Bio
Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was a famous leader of the American civil rights movement, a political activist, and a Baptist minister. In 1964, King became the youngest man to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize (for his work as a peacemaker, promoting nonviolence and equal treatment for different races).
He was born on January 15, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia, into a deeply rooted spiritual and intellectual tradition. He was raised in a close-knit African American community shaped by faith, dignity, and resilience in the face of segregation. His father, Martin Luther King Sr., was a Baptist minister, and his mother, Alberta Williams King, was a gifted musician and teacher—together instilling in him a profound reverence for God, learning, and moral responsibility.
As a child, King was keenly aware of racial injustice, experiencing firsthand the pain of separation and exclusion. These early encounters left a deep imprint on his soul but did not harden his heart. Instead, they awakened in him a longing for justice anchored in love rather than resentment. He was an exceptional student, entering college at a young age, and later pursued theological studies that would refine his understanding of nonviolence, conscience, and the redemptive power of love.
King emerged as a pastor, preacher, and public moral leader whose voice carried far beyond the walls of any church. Drawing upon Christian faith, the teachings of Jesus, and the principles of nonviolent resistance, he articulated a vision of human dignity that transcended race, class, and nation. His leadership called individuals and societies alike to align law with justice, power with compassion, and action with conscience.
Selected Quotes

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.”
“True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.”
“Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.”

The Promised Land.
January 12th, 2007
Received by FAB
I am here, Martin Luther King, Jr.
As my birthday approaches, I would like the world to know that I did in fact see “the Promised Land,” and that this Promised Land will come, and soon.
The agitation of the 1960’s for justice and peace was a beautiful thing, which God took note of, and you will live to see its fulfillment.

Dr King reaffirms non-violence.
January 20th, 2008
Received by FAB
I am here, Martin Luther King, Jr.
You channeled me correctly in my channeling of January 12, 2007, The Promised Land. When I mentioned what happened in the 1960s, I was referring to my nonviolent movement. I was against the violence that contradicted my own efforts. That should be clear. But despite this counterproductive downward spiral of violence, which so many rightfully deplored, there was enough of the true spirit of Christ to make a difference.
As I said on earth, violence only produces more violence, and I was grief-stricken when so many saw violence as a more viable alternative.
You have in our country now those who have learned their lesson, so that at the appropriate time, history will vindicate my message. I know this sounds untrue and unrealistic to you, since there are many Americans who beat the drums of war. But many do not. This is a matter of justice, and the Creator will have a hand in it.

Received by FAB
I am here, Martin Luther King, Jr.
I come with an Easter message, and that is that I DID NOT DIE IN VAIN. Nor has anyone else in history who was martyred for the sake of justice and the truth. God has His purposes and His ways.

Keep your Eyes on the Prize
August 17th, 2021
Received by Jimbeau Walsh
Thank you for trusting me to come and allowing me to come and be in your circle. On my journey on earth as a Reverend, I prayed earnestly, and some days without ceasing, for guidance and for protection. My template was based not only on the teachings of Jesus, but also on the non-violent activism of Gandhi. I saw what he was able to accomplish by an absolute refusal of violence, of taking up arms against the oppressors.
So this became my message to those who joined me for the causes of social justice, racial equality, for the freedoms that were guaranteed by the founders of my country and yet as you well know were not extended to those who were considered less than human, not equal, less smart, not good enough and so forth. We persisted and by the Grace of God we succeeded in many ways and yet the cancer of violence and hatred and segregation and superiority still exists and, in many places, and in many cultures.
I believed that God was Love and that Jesus was His great prophet, son, and prince of peace. So I often quoted from the Gospels and sometimes from the Old Testament things that would awaken the consciences of the oppressors but also to give hope to my brothers and sisters. We marched in faith and in peace and suffered but we kept as I would say, “Our eyes on the prize”.
So you who have had the wonderful privilege and blessing of receiving the truth of God’s Love, the true Gospel of Jesus, and of the progression of the soul to the Kingdom of God, I say, “Keep your eyes on the prize” for there is none greater. And while you live on earth do your part with this Love that you have, do your part for social justice, for the earth, for the poor, for all those in need. The Love of God gives one great empathy for all those who suffer, for the hopeless and the hungry and yes, even for one’s enemies. Did not the master say: “Love your enemies, those who oppress you and hate you?” Let your Love conquer all as it is the great weapon of peace and Light that comes from God, and we are all His children.
May God bless you each on your journeys and I thank you for taking my message. We here have great hopes for humanity in this time of peril, in this time of change and transition. Fear not, have Faith and walk in the Light and Love of God. All is well. May God bless you. Truly bless you. I am your brother and friend in Christ. I am Martin Luther King. Walk in Peace.
