Former Miss South Africa and inclusivity advocate Mia Le Roux has officially revealed when she will be walking down the aisle.
The beauty queen recently shared exciting news with her followers by announcing her wedding date to fiancé Luke Tenoever. Mia posted a beautiful black-and-white video featuring herself and Luke, giving fans a glimpse into their love story as they prepare for their special day.
Alongside the video, Mia simply wrote, “16.10.2026. The day we say ‘I DO’.”
The couple will officially say “I Do” and celebrate their love on Friday, 16 October 2026. The announcement quickly attracted attention from fans and supporters who have followed their journey over the years.
Mia and Luke first shared news of their engagement on 8 July 2025. At the time, Mia proudly showed off her engagement ring and shared a heartfelt message dedicated to her future husband.
She wrote, “Hello there FIANCE @luke_tenoever. I cannot wait to become your wife.
The immense love, patience and sacrifice you have shown me this year has been nothing short of incredible.
From the way you hold space for me with calm and steadiness in life’s tough moments, to the way we lose ourselves in laughter over the silliest things. My heart will choose you over and over again, even though you have to inspect your cricket kit for an hour first when I ask for a cup of coffee.”
Mia also revealed that the couple decided to keep their engagement private for some time so they could fully enjoy the moment together before sharing it with the world.
She explained, “We have been engaged for a while now and mutually agreed that we just want to enjoy our little bubble. This one moment that just belonged to us for a little while.
And now we are ready to share our joy with the world. We said yes to forever.”
Now, nearly a year after publicly announcing their engagement, the couple is counting down the months until their wedding day.
With the date finally confirmed, supporters can look forward to celebrating this exciting new chapter with Mia and Luke as they prepare to begin their journey as husband and wife on 16 October 2026.
