South African actress Samokelo Ndlovu is celebrating a very special milestone in her daughter’s life. The proud mom recently marked her daughter’s eighth birthday with a heartfelt message and beautiful celebration that melted many hearts on social media.

Samokelo, who often shares her daughter’s big moments online, posted pictures from the birthday celebration. Her daughter looked happy as she celebrated with a pink Hello Kitty birthday cake. She also received a pink Hello Kitty Stanley cup as a gift, which added to the cute and colourful theme of the day.

Her daughter turned eight on 15 February, and Samokelo took to Instagram to share an emotional message dedicated to her little girl. She wrote,

“15 February. Eight years of loving you — and still in awe of the girl you’re becoming. Kind, brilliant, funny, adventurous… my heart walks outside my body when I watch you grow. I see myself through your eyes and it’s the purest thing to ever happen to me. Celebrating you with your cousins, wrapped in laughter and love. What a privilege it is to be yours. Happy 8th birthday Zhuzhu bear ka Mamakhe “loluthando ngiyalisebenzele, ngiyali cabangela””

The touching message showed just how proud and grateful she feels as a mother. Many followers flooded the comments section with birthday wishes and kind words for her daughter.

Earlier this year, Samokelo also shared another proud moment when her daughter started Grade 3. She posted another loving message that read,

“Grade 3 May this year stretch you gently, grow you bravely, and meet you with kindness. I’m so proud of the girl you are becoming — and I’ll be right here, cheering you on, holding your hand, standing beside you… always.”
