Cape Town announces a 24-hour water outage on Monday

The City of Cape Town has announced a 24-hour water outage set to begin on Monday, 29 June at 10:00, running through to Tuesday, 30 June at 10:00. The shutdown is linked to a temporary closure of offtakes from the Voëlvlei Bulk Water pipeline, which the City’s Water and Sanitation Directorate is conducting as part of an ongoing condition assessment of the critical water supply asset.
