A major civil war has erupted at the top of world football as Uefa and Concacaf have united to demand that Fifa releases a staggering $2.1 billion from its cash reserves. The two powerful confederations have written directly to president Gianni Infantino, insisting that every one of the 211 member associations receives at least $10m to fund infrastructure and development.
