The recognition will honour Mr Bonile Rabela and Mr Teboho Nyatsa, who delivered world class performances against top global competitors. Their success highlights the strength of South African talent in specialised agricultural skills. It also places a spotlight on sheep shearing as a highly competitive and skilled profession. The official recognition event is scheduled for Thursday, 23 April 2026 at Beyerskloof in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
