ANC wins ConCourt battle with IEC — but 2,093 other candidates remain excluded

The Constitutional Court’s order overturning the decision by the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) to exclude 181 ANC candidates from contesting the upcoming local elections has saved the party from administrative chaos, but 2,093 more candidates from 44 parties still remain in the cold.
