Grammy-winning South African singer Tyla has added another international achievement to her growing list of accomplishments after securing a place on FIFA’s official World Cup 2026 album.

FIFA recently revealed the artists who will feature on the highly anticipated project, which brings together musicians from across the globe ahead of the world’s biggest football tournament. The organisation also announced that fans can now pre-save the album before its official release on Friday, 5 June 2026.

The album features an impressive lineup of artists from different countries, languages and musical backgrounds. Among those included are Lisa, Anitta, Rema, Shenseea, Burna Boy, Shaggy, Jelly Roll and several other global stars. Tyla represents South Africa on the project through her collaboration with American rapper Future.

The pair teamed up on a song titled Game Time, which was officially released on Friday, 29 May 2026. The track forms part of FIFA Sound’s music rollout for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which will take place across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Announcing the project, FIFA President Gianni Infantino praised the collection of artists selected for the album.

“FIFA has brought together an extraordinarily strong music squad and one befitting the biggest single-sport event in history – the FIFA World Cup 2026!” he wrote.

Infantino also highlighted the diversity behind the project and its goal of connecting football fans through music.

“From global superstars to breakthrough voices who are shaping the future of music, the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album features artists from across continents, languages and genres in a project designed to unite fans worldwide through the power of music and football.”

Tyla’s involvement in the project goes beyond recording music. The singer is also set to perform during the World Cup celebrations. One of the biggest highlights will be her headline performance at the iconic Estadio Azteca on 11 June, shortly before the opening match between South Africa and Mexico.

She will then perform again on 12 June at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, giving fans another opportunity to see her on one of football’s biggest stages.

For Tyla, being selected for FIFA’s official World Cup 2026 album marks another major milestone in a career that continues to reach new international heights. As excitement builds ahead of the tournament, the South African star will play a role in providing the soundtrack to one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
