THE FUSE

Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo has taken on a new responsibility at the South African Football Association (SAFA), adding another chapter to his long and distinguished career in football. The former midfielder has been appointed vice-chairperson of SAFA’s Technical Committee, placing his experience and knowledge of the game within the association’s football structures. The appointment recognises Khumalo’s lasting contribution to South African football as a player and coach. He remains one of the most respected figures in the country’s sporting history, having represented both Kaizer Chiefs and the national team with distinction. His new role also creates an opportunity for him to contribute to the development of football beyond his achievements on the pitch.
