THE FUSE

The Head of Department for Agriculture, Rural Development and Environmental Affairs, Mr Tshepo Mabilo, recently led a strategic visit to the Thabo Mofutsanyana District to introduce the newly appointed District Director, Mr A.M. Tawana. He was accompanied by the Acting Chief Director for Farmer Support and Development, Mr George Madiba, during the official engagement with departmental officials. The visit marked an important administrative step for the district and reinforced the department’s focus on strengthening leadership structures at local level. The introduction of the new District Director comes at a time when the province is working to improve coordination and delivery of agricultural services. The engagement also served as a platform to align expectations and reinforce operational priorities across the district office.
