Marine One, the helicopter used to transport President Donald Trump, was seen flying directly over a striking display of 3,000 white crosses set up near the Washington Monument on the National Mall. The moment was captured and shared by South African activist Ernst Roets, executive director of the Lex Libertas think tank, who was livestreaming from the scene as the president’s helicopter made its way back to the White House.
