Kwesta and Yolanda Celebrate 7 Years of Marriage

South African rapper Kwesta and his wife Yolanda Vilakazi recently celebrated 7 years of marriage and 16 years together. The couple shared special moments from their wedding day, including clips of them exchanging vows, in a joint social media post. In the caption, they wrote simply, “Happy 7 years of marriage and 16 years of love.”
Their love story began on set during the shooting of a music video for one of Kwesta’s hit singles, where Yolanda was cast as his love interest. While both were focused on their work, their onscreen chemistry soon turned into a real-life romance. Over the years, they have built a strong partnership and now share two daughters, 13-year-old Khai and 5-year-old Kenya.
In a previous feature for the February 2026 Love Issue of Clicks magazine, the couple shared the secret to keeping their relationship strong. Yolanda said it is about “choosing each other daily.” Kwesta added, “Being conscious of that also affects how you fight. It’s not to say we don’t fight, but when we do it’s from a place of having chosen each other and continuing to.” They agreed that having children has strengthened their bond and that Kwesta’s faith has brought more depth to their family life.
