AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU burns and swells even after using AMD's updated BIOS

Another Ryzen 7 7800X3D has apparently burned out, but this time it happened on a motherboard running the latest available BIOS. A user on Reddit says their system shut down mid-game after about three months of use, then got stuck in a boot loop. The CPU was paired with an MSI PRO X870-P Wi-Fi board, which also stopped working afterward.
