The company confirmed the drives are on track for customer qualification shipments in late 2027, with broader availability expected in 2028. The announcement came alongside strong financial results, with the company posting $3.6 billion in revenue for the quarter, up 48% year over year, driven almost entirely by AI data centre and cloud storage demand.
