The biggest announcement at BlizzCon 2026 was a new StarCraft shooter, complete with a cinematic teaser trailer that felt reminiscent of Starship Troopers without the camp. But the game isn’t coming out until 2030, and for that reason, the team is sounding pretty vague and tight-lipped in the interviews coming out of the convention. So what can we glean from how Blizzard is thinking about the upcoming shooter?
