DNA Reveals Seven New Madagascar Frog Species, and Researchers Propose 24 of 27 Are Threatened

An international team of twelve researchers has described seven previously unnamed species of Madagascar's diamond frogs, and in the same monograph proposed that 24 of the genus's now 27 species should be treated as threatened with extinction. The revision appeared in the open-access journal Vertebrate Zoology, running from page 485 to page 610 of volume 76.
