Lake Powell Sits About 28 Feet Above the Level Where Glen Canyon Dam Stops Generating Power

The reservoir set a new modern low of 3,516.62 feet on Sept. 15, according to daily U.S. Bureau of Reclamation readings compiled by the Lake Powell Water Level tracker, leaving it roughly 27 feet above that threshold at its lowest point so far.
