Agricultural Research Council Engages Farmers and Learners During International Women’s Day and Back to School Outreach in Siyabuswa

The Agricultural Research Council spent the day in Siyabuswa under the Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality in Mpumalanga as part of an outreach programme that combined the commemoration of International Women’s Day with a Back to School campaign. The event brought together the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, government officials, development partners and members of the local community. The gathering celebrated the role women play in agriculture while also supporting learners by providing essential school supplies. Community members, farmers and students gathered to participate in activities that promoted education, agricultural development and community empowerment. The programme created a platform where government institutions and research bodies could interact directly with residents and share practical information that supports rural development.
