Politicians lie, I know, big shock, but this is something that needs to be emphasized. They lie about policies, they lie in order to get elected, and they lie to hold onto power. Everyone knows this, yet we still see this happening over and over among politicians on all sides of the political spectrum. These lies range from being quite serious and damning of those politicians who tell them, all the way down to fairly silly lies that make you question why someone would lie about such a thing.

One of the more insidious lies we’ve seen promoted by Donald Trump and his administration regards the activity of ICE in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where ICE agents have now killed two people, Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Both of these people were American citizens, which makes their deaths at the hands of ICE all the sadder. In response to their deaths, the Trump administration, and in particular Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, have spread horrific lies about Good and Pretti in order to justify their deaths.
