Jay Jay Agricultural Primary Co-operative Limited is strengthening agricultural production in Mphuthi Location under the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality, building on years of experience in vegetable farming and access to a substantial area of agricultural land. Established in 2018, the co-operative has developed production activities that include maize, soya beans and vegetables. Its vegetable farming activities benefit from access to water and an established irrigation system, which provide important infrastructure for agricultural production. The co-operative has access to approximately 344 hectares of land, creating a significant base for continued farming activities. Through investment in productive infrastructure and ongoing agricultural work, the co-operative is contributing to employment, livelihoods and economic activity within the local community.
