Actor Sdumo Mtshali has reached an exciting new milestone after announcing his latest brand partnership with Mazda. The talented actor has officially joined the Mazda South Africa family as the brand’s newest ambassador, marking the beginning of what looks set to be an exciting journey.
Sdumo shared the exciting news with his followers on social media, giving them a glimpse into his new partnership through a video. In the video, the actor can be seen behind the wheel of the brand new Mazda CX-60, while also showing off the premium SUV’s beautiful and luxurious interior.
Sharing his excitement about the partnership, Sdumo Mtshali wrote, “I’m proud to announce that l’ve officially joined the @mazda_sa family as a Brand Ambassador.
In Japanese, the word Takumi means ‘master craftsman.’

The announcement was met with excitement from fans, friends and fellow celebrities, who quickly took to the comments section to congratulate the actor on his latest achievement.
Actress Luyanda Zwane congratulated Sdumo while also adding a playful comment about his new wheels. She joked, “I can’t wait to be fetched by you!!”
Actress Gugu Gumede also celebrated the exciting announcement, commenting, “Congratulations!!”
Meanwhile, actress Lerato Mvelase shared her heartfelt congratulations, writing, “Gods time, Congratulations.”
Sdumo’s new Mazda CX-60 Takumi partnership also gives him the opportunity to showcase a vehicle that combines luxury, technology and performance. The Mazda CX-60 features a Large 12.3-inch central infotainment screen and a clear head-up windshield display. The SUV also comes equipped with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto alongside a Qi wireless smartphone charging pad.
Under the hood, the Mazda CX-60 offers a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine (141 kW/261 Nm) or a powerful 3.3-litre turbocharged inline-6 diesel engine with mild-hybrid technology (187 kW/550 Nm). The vehicle also features an 8-speed automatic transmission paired with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD).
