The National Treasury on Wednesday said it had published proposed amendments to the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) for public comment as it pushes for clearer accountability, stronger enforcement and fiscal sustainability across all spheres of government.
